For this canvas I play with fake Gucci (that I bought at a church flea market xD) and deal with the topics of class status and the change of self-esteem by wearing expensive brands. Is it a way of crafting identity when you’re living in a society that’s obsessed with appearance and status? The Psp is filming the scene adding a layer of voyeurism and nostalgia. The 50 x 40 cm canvas is made from fabrics and embroidery.
